ROAR is a recognized Center at the University of Maryland, Baltimore established in 2019. As a Center at UMB, ROAR is not an independent non-profit organization; the Center and operates under the rules and regulations governing UMB and all its employees. Everyone who works for ROAR is an employee of the State of Maryland. ROAR is financially supported by outside funders and receives administrative support from the Provost’s Office.
